  • We have transportation available from the Guatemala City airport. Our goal is to have as many attendees as possible on each ride. Please try to book flights that fall within those transportation windows to be provided a complimentary ride. Outside of those windows, many transportation services can be utilized to get to the Bambu Retreat Center, costing anywhere from $25+ depending on your choice of vehicle. The ride is anywhere from 3 to sometimes 5 hours.

  • Although we will be in a safe space during the retreat, there is still always an opportunity for misfortune when traveling abroad! We encourage you to not bring anything that is of major value or sentiment - or if you do, we would encourage you to not carry these items on your person while exploring the Lake or other parts of Guatemala that you may have planned. This includes carrying too much money on your person!
